Footwear Design and Development Institute is an educational institute headquartered in NOIDA Uttar Pradesh, India.It has campuses at NOIDA, Fusatganj (District Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh), Chennai, Kolkata, Rohtak, Haryana, Chhindwara, M.P. and Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Footwear Design & Development Institute popularly known as FDDI conducts a range of professional courses in the area of Retail Management, Footwear Design, Technology, Management, Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandizing, Marketing, Creative Designing & CAD/CAM and Leather Goods & Accessories Design etc. The long-term courses are of two to three years duration.
FDDI was set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India in 1986 with an objective to provide human resource and technical services to the industry.
FDDI has a distinct presence not only in higher education but also in the spheres in Industrial Consultancy, Research and Development and Training of active industry professionals. FDDI students have been placed globally in countries like USA, UK, Germany, Hong Kong, Egypt, China, Singapore, UK, Middle East, Sri Lanka, Kenya etc.
