Louis Nye
Louis Nye (May 1, 1913 – October 9, 2005) was an American comedy actor.He was born Louis Neistat in Hartford, Connecticut,
the son of Joseph Neistat (May 18, 1881 – September 1967) and Jennie
Sherman (born 1890). His sister was Rose Neistat (born 1917). Although
Louis, who pronounced his given name Louie, claimed to have been born in 1922, he was listed as age six on the 1920 Hartford County, Connecticut, Federal Census.
